Dominik Jellen, born in 1991 in Salzburg, works as a freelance performer, stage designer, director and choreographer in Austria. In 2015 he graduated from the "Accademia Teatro Dimitri", in Switzerland with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Theatre.

After two years as a freelancer in the independent scene of Europe, he began working as a  director’s assistant at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe in the 16/17 season to the season 19/20. There he set up staged readings, assisted directors with the focus on documentary theatre, choreographed for different productions and became production assistant for foreign guest performances around the globe. Since January 2020, he has been working again as a freelance dancer, theatre maker and performer in Austria and concentrates nowadays on documentary theatre work and researched based productions.
