Jonas is a theatremaker and trainer in political education in Germany and Austria. He did his B.A. in European Studies in Passau and Barcelona and completed theatre pedagogical training in Berlin and Lörrach. He finished his Master of Applied Theatre at Thomas Bernhard Institute of the University Mozarteum in Salzburg with a community theatre piece about caring, diverse and aware masculinities. He works as a political educator and trainer for various initiatives in Vienna. He is currently involved in the programme Practicing Care with Belarusian and Ukrainian artists at Mozarteum. 2023 he’s curating Camping Campus residency of the Supergau Festival for contemporary arts in the alpine region of Lungau, an interdisciplinary and experimental space for artistic and collaborative learning.
